Hello to all, I want to talk in this article about a special examination tha
is very popular
and every person should take this test
This test is called (TOEFL Test)
also Because these days I will take it and my mind is sooo busy about it
What does TOEFL mean?
TOEFL means =a test of English as a foreign********
Ok... why is of that important?
TOEFL test is important because it tests your skills in English
and determine whether you are qualified for the University or not
OK...how many kinds of TOEFL are there ?
There are two kinds of TOEFL. .The paper TOEFL and the computer TOEFL
Paper TOEFL : The paper TOEFL is consist of four
parts. They are ..listening , grammar, reading , and writing
You will face 50 questions in listening that it will be divided into
thirty normal conversations, twenty conversations between two people o more ,
and the rest of the ten will be in lectures
the grammar test will be 50 questions
but don't worry it will be easy
The reading test will be from 60 questions and here is the way..
There will be 6 articles and each article will have 10 questions,
the reading test is very hard though..
In writing the test you will be given 30 minutes to write about something. This thing varies from the subject the examiner gives you
Now let's go to the computer test
the computer test has the same category as the paper test,
but the listening part has 25 questions and some times 50questions
.The grammar part has 20 questions, and the reading
part has about 60 questions
For me, I think the computer test is better because in listening
part you will have your own mouse so ..it makes it easy to listen
rather than having big stereos
WHAT is the grade of TOEFL ?
The grade of TOEFL starts from 300 and ends with 690 ( I
guess)....most colleges in USA want a grade from 500 and above. community colleges
need ( most of it 450 and above ) and most of the universities want 50
and above
Advises for the TOEFL?
1- Practice English a lot
2-Don’t be nervous before the examination (believe me this is personal
experience)
3-Be cool
4- Try to do TOEFL exams at home............in other words ..practice
